What's involved in my admission?: 

Depending on the event, each player will get (1) skater or goalie spot and (2) tickets to the professional game. This can vary depending on the city. 

How many players and goalies can play per game? 

We cap 15 players a side (3 forward lines and 3 D lines) Usually 2 goalies and sometimes 3. 

How much does it cost? 

We like to keep costs low and affordable. In 2024-25, it ranged between 4-$500 but in 25-26 will try to be in the $275 - $300 range. 

Can my friends and family watch us play?

Depending on the game, spectators will need a ticket to the game. We will notify you if this is not the case, but plan on having a ticket of admission for your friend or family member 

Can my friend come on the bench or the locker room? 

We will be offering bench spots at $100 per person. Locker rooms are for players only.

Will there be photographs and video of the event? 

There will always be at least a photographer at every Barn Mice Arena skate

What is the average age of a Barn Mouse?

44. This is mostly an adult group, but will make exceptions for 15-16 year olds if family members are playing. 

Who can play?

If you are able to skate backwards, stop, and transition easily, we encourage you to join a skate. Enter at your own risk as Barn Mice is comprised of new players, skilled players, and everyone in between. We will never turn away a player based on their experience only if they are a liability to other players on the ice. 

Whats an average event look like?

Skate before the game in the afternoon, wash up, have dinner and meet at the NHL Arena . There is usually a second scrimmage at the practice facility or local rink nearby.

Rules and gameplay: 

Barn Mice Hockey club was started a fun and enjoyable way to enjoy the game of hockey. These rules are put in place to continue the mission of our organization. We provide two referees. 

• Rule #1 - Don't be a jerk (if you need clarity on this rule, please don't register) 

• Rule #2 - Play safe (Keep your head up, don't go hard in the corners, give people some room) 

• Rule #3 - Short shifts 

• Rule #4 - Pass the puck 

During our scrimmages no one will assigned to the penalty box if there is an infraction. A penalty shot will be awarded and a following faceoff. *Any dangerous play will result in an ejection with no refund and no future participation with our group. See rule #1
